Acer Liquid A1 Specs,Price, Release Date

The highly anticipated Acer Liquid A1 has just had it’s release date and price announced. As predicted, Acer managed to release this breakthrough product quicker and cheaper than anyone could have envisioned. In fact, I’m going to go and pre-order the Acer Liquid A1 right after I finish writing this post. Ok so let’s get down to the specifics.

Acer Liquid Release Date
The Acer Liquid A1 release date will be on November 28 and can already be preordered in some countries such as Spain. This release date is very soon and just before some major other phones come out including the HTC HD2 (which also packs the Snapdragon processor) and other new smartphones that will run the Android operating software. Big surprise is that Acer is able to release this kind of phone way before Dell can – even tough we did hear Dell speaking alot more about it.
Acer Liquid Price
We did say that Acer was able to keep their prices down for even their high end technological products, and they didn’t disappoint us this time around either. The Acer Liquid A1 price is only 380 euros or around 570 dollars. This is all without Acer Liquid carrier subsidies coming into play (assuming there will be some). This is quite astonishing given all the goodies that is packed under this phone. Need I repeat: 5MP camera, 1 Ghz processor, HD screen, Android OS…really a fantastic deal.

The Acer Liquid A1 is a new smart phone developed by Acer that will use Android 1.6 Donut operating system and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset. This highly anticipated and flashy smartphone will include a camera (with ISO levels) that will be able to tag photos and pictures with location information from the built-in GPS receiver, so that you can now officially prove that those holiday pictures of yours weren’t made using photoshop.
Another greate Acer Liquid features is that songs and videos can be played on the handheld Liquid Phone. Acer’s Liquid phone is also designed for Internet surfing and browsing, and allows high speed Web access through HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) mobile networks.

The Acer Liquid preview also shows that it will have a 800 x 480 WVGA capacitive touchscreen that is highly impressive for a phone of that size. The Acer android phone will also possess the Spinlets application for access to streaming audio and video and an adress book integration and synching with the leading social networking websites of today including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and other social media networks.
The Acer Liquid Snapdragon from Qualcomm processor is a1 GHZ powerhouse that should pave the wave for lots of games and apps on teh Acer Liquid. We know that the Android marketplace is full of applications, but developers can finally make high end games that will play comfortably with Liquid’s Android phone.

Acer Liquid Release Date and Acer Liquid Price
If you’re wondering about the Acer Liquid release date, well I’m sorry to inform you that this hasn’t been disclosed yet by the Taiwanese company. Estimates put the release date of Acer Liquid around the holiday season of this year. It really looks like an absolutely amazing phone and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
Acer also announced today the Acer Aspire One Android Notebook which will be one of the first netbooks running the Android operating system. The Acer Android Netbook is said to boot in 18 seconds and shutdown in only 3 seconds – both truely amazing numbers.
Acer Liquid Review and Comparison to iPhone and G1 Google Phone
One feature of Acer Liquid that some users might not be happy with is that its fully a touchscreen and has no keyboard or actual buttons. If you compare the Acer Liquid with the iPhone or the G1 or G2 phones, the Acer Liquid still comes way ahead. The technology inside the phone is way beyond anything that either Apple or HTC have been able to develop. It’s quite fitting that a company like Acer would be the first to release this kind of monstrous powered phone with 800×480 resolution and using the Snapdragon which are both very exciting hardware to have on a smartphone. Acer is currently the leading laptop manufacturer in the world and the second leading computer manufacturer in the world, so it’s not that big of a surprise for them to achieve this breakthrough performance.
While the Acer Liquid price is something most people are worried about, especially with all the hardware that we have talked about here, it nevertheless shouldn’t be too much as Acer time and again finds ways to release its innovative products to the market place at very reasonable prices. I would just focus on trying to preorder or buy a Acer Liquid before the supply runs out. Acer Liquid price is estimated at 600$ before carrier subsidies come in.
No information has been released on the conditions of the phone and whether there will any carriers: a Acer Liquid monthly plan is one thing that smartphones fans will hope won’t exist. Acer is making a major new dive into the smartphone market and it will be interesting to see whether they will want to release to market without some major carrier deals.
