Hello,
Thanks for the article...

This looks very exciting, but I have a few buts... largely to do with android.

I dont know if the A1 will have a customised interface designed by Acer, or if it's plain old Android, but I find andriod clunky and boring... certainly compared to WM with SPB Mobile shell and all the widgets, attractive icons etc.

What really puts me off though is the andriod keyboard which does not offer a press&hold to enter numbers like WM does. So when entering a password or a string of numbers and letters, one has to keep going between number and letter keyboard views. Really annoying IMO.

Perhaps it will be upgradeable to android v2, which I hope is a lot more attractive, intuitive.

The phone does not have a front camera, so no video calls it seems?

Perhaps I will stick to my Touch HD till iphone (uuurgh) come out with a 1ghz processor, teathering, drag and drop generic usb connectivity (dream on)

Factually incorrect.

Asus made the eeePC and Acer made the Aspire One series of netbooks.
