Acer Announces Acer Liquid e

Only a few months after releasing its first cell phone in the Liquid series, the Acer Liquid A1, comes the next phone of that series, the Acer Liquid e.

The new mobile phone that was just announced today sports several interesting improvements over the Liquid A1.

The most prominent change is the Android 2.1 operating system. Most other features of the new phone are similar to those from the Liquid A1 including the underclocked Snapdragon cpu, the WVGA screen, battery life, memory, connectivity and camera.

    Should this mean that Acer is not willing to provide an upgrade for Liquid A1 to the Eclair 2.0/2.1 in the near future?

    Why dont they provide upgrade to existing customer. We early adopters are the one who made acer famous in this area. Are they forgetting us

    2.1 ROM has been leaked already, do a search for it. Been running it on my A1 for a couple of weeks and it’s pretty stable.
