Acer and Gateway are among the recipients of Japan’s Good Design awards, which have become a trademark for outstanding design and quality internationally. The winning entries are the Acer Aspire 8943G and Gateway EC39 notebooks, Acer Liquid Metal smartphone and Gateway FHD2303L LED monitor. A panel of 70 judges screened more than 3000 entries from around the world on their contributions toward society, culture and the global environment.

Established in 1957, the Good Design Awards is organized by Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO), and offers signposts for tomorrow’s lifestyle to the public, industry and society overall.

Aspire 8943G notebook
